Series and ideas

I'm so thankful for tv series and documentaries!!

There are certain words that trigger ideas and sentences are even more helpful! Just last week I was listening and watching (more like taking a glimpse here or there) to Dark a German series on Netflix. It has to do with time travel and the question of Determinism. I forget which character brings this word up but it made me think, if I didn't know what Determinism meant, would I be able to give a definition for it? Then I started to think that its meaning depends on the context it's presented in. If it's subjective, then determinism could mean one's eagerness and willingness to commit and succeed. In the context of time travel the meaning changes. In this context, determinism means that if someone travels to the past and changes history, determinism will prevent any change to affect the present or future, in other words...the butterfly effect is moo...like a moo point, a cow's opinion, moo, nada, zero! it's moo.
